In Memory of Steve Irwin 1962 - 2006
Steve Irwin - The Crocodile Hunter
This morning was a sad and tragic day for Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, who took a fatal wound to the heart from a barb of a sting ray. We here at Otaku Corner would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin as well as to the the Australia Zoo family. Steve Irwin showed the worldwide community the importance of conserving wildlife and the natural resources of the planet. Through Steve's eyes we saw the beauty and majesty of nature, as well as respect for all wildlife. May his life lessons live on thoughout the worldwide community, and let the memories he left behind bring hope for the future of all God's creatures. Steve we will miss you, and we love you and we wish you the best as you embark on the next journey of what will always be an incredible and remarkable life.

I feel so bad for his family...Apparently when they were on the plane to Queensland, Bob asked Terri, "Where's Daddy?" That just really makes me tear up.

I am really saddened by these news. I really admired his courage and love for animals. He was a great environmentalist and he did so much to show people the value of nature. I know his legacy will live on forever in countless videos he had. I am pretty sure his wife and children will also dedicate their life to the wildlife like Steve did.

My family just loved Steve Irwin and have missed him on the TV since the show was cancelled.
My best wishes go out ot his family in this time. At least he died doing what he loved. What a legacy for his children when they grow up and know how much the world loved their father.
